We had a small but mighty group at Junior rehearsal working with Adam.
Next week, is your Orff presentation. You will rehearse with Adam from 5 - 5:30 and then present to your parents at 5:30!
Here are the lyrics and actions from Adam:
Pierre, the woodcarver's song:
LYRICS MOVEMENTS
I want to build a clock, << clock arms with hammering >>
For the townsfolk now.
(Which/) This tree's wood is right, << point out >>
Yes - I have the might, << flex muscles >>
I'll chop it day or night, << chop on beat >>
Yes - I need it now
No matter how.
The Singing Fir Tree's song:
LYRICS MOVEMENTS
Magical, musical << swaying tree pose>>
beautiful -
I'm standing strong. << stop swaying - stand tall >>
I've lived forever upon this spot - << draw a circle with hands at waist level >>
nothing can go wrong. << slowly raise arms back up to tree pose >>
