Hello Prep Families!

I hope your week is fun filled and music filled. We had a great day on Monday in the studio! Lots of energy! We were developing our sense of low and high sounds with some tracing graphics and we looked at Vicky Weber's "Rhythm Rescue" where we clapped Ta and Ti-ti rhythms to give tala her superpowers. We then created rhythms for our own super powers!

After our theory lesson we continued onto our snowy rep and reviewed "Snowman, Where'd you go" and our second piece "Snow is Falling" which will be a partner song with our Junior friends.

Please note we have started our fundraiser Sweets for Singers. Check online to see what sweet treats you can tell your family and friends about. Highest seller wins a Viva hoodie!

Thanks for lending your voices!

Hello Preps!

We had a great time last week in our session singing songs such as Jeremy and Jazzy's "You can be anything" as we get to know each other. Some Ballerinas, Ninjas, some "I don't know yet" (which is very okay because you can be anything)!

We also started preparing our repertoire for the December concerts. We sang a bit of Snowman, Where'd you go?

And finally we joined our community in the family sing where you all came and joined along! It was good to see all of you and we hope that we can encourage you to spread the word about our organization and its wonders!

Excited to see what our singers share next as we start our portfolios! Have a great weekend and we'll see you on our next Music Monday!

Kind regards,

Mike
